The Inferential Method
IISA Assessment, Consultancy & Research Centre helps you make predictions or inferences about the population of the observations and analysis of samples. That is, we can help you achieve analysis results through the analysis of samples which are generalizable to the larger population.
To do this, however, the important thing is that the samples are representative samples in terms of representing the population. Here, the precision of the use of sampling techniques tailored to the issues under investigation becomes vital.
To overcome problem of generalization, we should use significance tests. A Chi-square or T-test, for example, can tell us the likelihood whether the analysis results on samples represents the population or not. In other words, the tests are important to tell to which extent the probability of such analysis results occurred by chance or is structurally related to the presence or absence of the variables studied in this population.
