OBSERVATIONS & INTERVIEWS →

Observations and interview are two among all the methods of tracking and data collection. Although the two methods can be applied independently, combining the two makes the data obtained more complete and richer. The ability to design, plan, and do both of these methods is the main skill that must be possessed by researchers.

SURVEY METHOD →

The Division of Survey Research of IISA Assessment, Consultancy & Research Centre conduct surveys at local, regional, and national levels. Our survey experience broadens to various research populations, including general household (adults and elderly) and special populations such as children, adolescents, ethnic and other cultural groups, groups that are in conflict, members of Parliament/People Assembly, Attorney, activists of NGOs, National Human Rights Commission, school administrators and teachers, key informants from business community, and local governments.

POLLING (QUANTITATIVE METHOD) →

IISA Assessment Consultancy & Research Centre is experienced in doing polling to gather opinions, attitudes, beliefs, behaviors, and other social information from individual samples. This polling serves many purposes, and can be done by phone, mail, website, or personal encounters.

INFERENTIAL METHOD (QUANTITATIVE METHOD) →

IISA Assessment, Consultancy & Research Centre helps you make predictions or inferences about the population of the observations and analysis of samples. That is, we can help you achieve analysis results through the analysis of samples which are generalizable to the larger population.

EXPERIMENTAL METHOD (QUANTITATIVE METHOD) →

IISA Assessment, Consultancy & Research Centre helps you determine whether a causal relationship exists between two or more variables. For that, we assist researchers find ways to directly manipulate the cause (independent variables), the procedure to randomize individual composition at different levels of independent variables, and measure their responses (the expected effects).

CONFIRMATORY METHOD/ TEST MODEL (QUANTITATIVE METHOD) →

IISA Assessment, Consultancy & Research Centre helps you test whether a model is really "significant". This problem is not easily resolved, particularly as it is still unclear which is the best way to draw the inference in context of exploratively data analysis, in which you have to statistically test the entire null hypothesis, or to test alternative hypotheses within the zone boundary or specific understanding locality.

QUALITATIVE METHOD →

Qualitative method relates to human studies in natural context. This method uses various tools and techniques to develop a deep understanding on how humans perceive their social reality, how they act in a social world, how they try to make relation between events, perception and action; so that the analysis made on them must be holistic and contextual. Nevertheless, IISA Assessment, Consultancy & Research Centre carefully emphasizes the diversity and variety of qualitative approaches.

CONTENT ANALYSIS →

IISA Assessment, Consultancy & Research Centre has been experienced in both quantitative and qualitative content analysis, ranging from attempts to calculate actual textual elements (number of words or objective content extraction) to explore the meaning that underlies physical messages of a text volume (patterns, themes).

METHOD OF SCENARIO PLANNING →

Scenario planning is a method to create and develop two or more plausible scenarios of what is POSSIBLE and / or CAN—other than SHOULD—happen in the future, which is presented in the form of descriptions or stories. This method is used to help individuals, formal-informal figures, policymakers, and leaders understanding alternatives of the future and identify steps that can cause these things up.

Q METHOD →

This research method is a combination of individual intensive methods of data collection and analysis of quantitative data. Q methodology requires subject of research to sort the weight of opinion (called Q-sorting) and put them in groups along the continuum.

MIXED METHODS →

Of the many methods developed, for IISA Assessment, Consultancy & Research Centre, the mixed method occupies a leading priority. The mixed method is a method that combines qualitative and quantitative research approaches. This type of research involves the use of dual concept, in which you are not only answering the research question, but also going wider to more relevant research methods.
